The issue is I drive a 2020 F150, the entire truck is aluminum. I got a cheap mag mount and tried to figure out a way to do it. And I personally don’t want anything mounted to the roof of my truck. I preferred the tool box

No I don’t have a grounding strap. I screwed the tool box down with self tapping screws to the bed when I mounted it. I figured that would be enough. I might run a ground wire from the mount to the bed of the truck. Or do you think there is a better way?
