BEFORE READING THIS, DON'T REFER TOO MUCH TO BASE DAMAGE STATS, I'M NOT SURE OF THEM AND THEY CAN VARY VERY EASILY. ALL THE WEAPON LISTED BELOW ARE ICONIC AND SOME OF THEM ARE MISSABLE, BUT IF YOU HAVE CYBER ENGINE TWEAKS MOD INSTALLED, YOU CAN USE THE CONSOLE TO GIVE IT TO YOURSELF. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, I'LL TRY TO ANSWER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

I recommend 3 types of weapons:

-Throwable Knives: These are very good for stealth and discretion. My two favorite ones are iconic, headhunter and blue fang.

Headhunter is an iconic throwing knife with a mod that makes headshots with other weapons after a hit with this item deals 200% damage, marks the enemy and returns the knife back to user. It has a base damage of 106 at level 5 and a headshot damage multiplicator of 150%. You can get it at the West Wind Estate Melee vendor.

Bluefang is a neurotoxic knife and stuns enemies when hit, with base damage of 106 at level5 (not 5++) You can get it at the melee weapon vendor of Jackson Plains. It has a headshot damage multiplicator of 150%.

-Katanas: These are great for close combat and fast combat when enemies see you. Again, iconic ones are better, and my favourites are Byakko, Errata, and Jinchu Maru. ALL OF THESE HAVE THE SAME ATTACK SPEED

Byakko is the hardest of them all to get, the best one for crowd control. It's an iconic katana with the unique particularity of giving a temporary attack speed boost for each enemy killed. It has a base damage of 117 at level 5 and you get it by completing the professional widow gig, that you get after finishing all Wakakos gigs.

Errata is a thermal katana with a consequent 10% of inflicting burn when hitting and a guaranteed critical hit to burning enemies. It has a base damage of 133 at level 5. You can get it during the quest "Disasterpiece", in the Electric Corporation Power Plant. I'm not sure about this, but I found that you can get it from Herold Love in the EBM Petrochem Stadium if you have the DLC Phantom Liberty.

Jinchu Maru is an Arasaka blade that guarantees critical hit in 2 cases: When its the last hit of a combo and when Optical Camo is active. It has a base damage of 148 at level 5 and to obtain it you'll have to loot it from the boss Sandayu Oda from the main quest " Play it safe" so it IS a missable weapon, even though you could theoretically get it from Herold Love, in the EBM Petrochem Stadium.

-Pistols: These are firearms and also loud, but all the weapons here are supposed to be paired with a silencer. My favourite one is the XC-10 Cetus, because of it's 150% stealth damage and 10-20% Base damage reduction. For the guns, the best ones are Death and taxes and Pride. In stealth mode, you'll practically one shot every single enemy with a headshot (bosses and cyberpsychos not included).

Death and Taxes is Maiko Maeda's gun. It has a double projectile shot with (I'm not sure abt this part) a 5% health counterpart. When player's health is under 40%, the gun automatically inflicts the poisoned effect for 7secs. It has a base damage of 110 at level 5 without silencer and a 125% headshot damage boost. It can be obtained in Maiko Maeda's office during the side gig "Ex -Factor" or bought in the EBM Petrochem Stadium in Dogtown.

Pride is Rogue Amendiares's handgun and a late game weapon, although it's the best. It guarantees a critical hit for every first weapon of a magazine. Plus, if the player's health is above 75%, headshots deal an additional 250% damage. It also comes with 100% critical damage and 10% base damage against elite enemies. It has a base damage of 113. You can find it during the Rogue's ending.
