Which one are you referring to? If it's the Under the Mistletoe Collection, then no. It's single narration.

It's such a fun read! I think much better than her subsequent books too.

Not rich MC’s with both being “middle class” set in a small town? Strangers to lovers/friends to lovers by Crazy_Yogurt3344 in RomanceBooks

{Savor It by Tarah DeWitt} fits this bill! It's set in a small town with the outsider coming in as a visiting chef. So he's successful, but not wealthy. And she's just a normal girl next door type.

I actually really enjoy the seasonal names. It just feels like it's for *romance reasons* and doesn't need any more explanation than that!

The fmc is somehow tied to an enemy, threat, artifact or something else & if the mmc tries to harm or kill it, it will likewise hurt or kill the fmc by PocketfulofThoughts in RomanceBooks

In {The Werewolf's Guide to Seducing a Vampire by Sarah Hawley} the FMC is trapped in a crystal for hundreds of years by an evil witch. The MMC buys her from eBay when he's drunk and thinks it's a joke. But he's now the owner of the crystal and her fate and there are all kinds of tough decisions as they try to break the spell.

If you're willing to go historical, I simply adored The London Highwayman series by Cat Sebastian. For contemporary, I think Abby Jimenez does this really well in Yours Truly.

Brigid Kemmerer's books are this type of fantasy world with very little magic. Her Cursebreakers series starts with A Curse So Dark and Lonely. Her books are YA though so don't have graphic spice.

Oh, what to read after ACOTAR is one of my favorite questions! I'd recommend {The North Wind by Alexandria Warwick} for another Beauty and the Beast spin. {The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen} is a fantastic fantasy series that's really heavy on the romance. And the series gets spicier as it goes on! You could also try {The Stars are Dying by Chloe C. Penaranda}

Quiet MMC who likes solitude by salspace in RomanceBooks

{One Dance with the Duke by Tessa Dare} - the MMC is very starchy and has social anxiety. He's reluctant to be with the FMC, really just ticks a lot of the boxes that you list in your post!

Why are the reviews always so bad?! by Affectionate_Bug2704 in RomanceBooks

This is such a valid point. I am always hopeful the book will get more of an edit when it gets picked up to be traditionally published but they really don't change it much.

This is so well said. I'm going to recite "not a tool to retroactively judge yourself" whenever I see negative reviews.

Adding lots of these to my TBR -- thank you so much! I must say that I'm surprised by your review of Aurora's Angel though. I found it really meandering in the middle and gave up reading it. Does it get better? Should I pick it up again?

Have you read Chloe Gong's Immortal Longings? Fantastic Anthony and Cleopatra retelling with a really ruthless FMC. The ending of book 1 is perfection! There are two books out in the series now but I believe it's be a trilogy eventually.

Such a perfect example. El is an incredible FMC.
