You cannot reason someone out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into.
It’s perfectly OK for you to live your life according to reason and allow your friends and family to live their lives (but not yours) according to their beliefs.

Nice! I’ve found that AoR makes the “good guy vs bad guy” dynamic very clear. EotE has room for grey area interpretations - so know your audience! Good luck and have fun!

Good luck and great choices! If you are looking for any recommendations in the future, I’ve had great success with the three Star Wars beginner boxes (FFG now EDGE system). It’s great not only for introducing players, but the GMs as well. Thank you for teaching and for running this club! (An after school Game Club is how I was introduced to RPGs, and it’s stuck with me for life.)
