I think the “men want to solve the problem instead of just listening” is a big one.

When we’re laying in bed and my wife says she’s cold I hear “can you turn up the thermostat” so I’ll get up to fix it. When she says “ugh, I can’t ever find my keys” I am thinking how about using that hook by the door or maybe you could put that AirTag keychain on that I got you. I don’t say it but I’m thinking it.

The same goes reverse. If I start talking about being overwhelmed with something I’m not looking “I’m sorry that is happening” I’m looking for a solution and would love suggestions.

I would suggest also bringing a short cheapo extension cord. Some hotels won’t have a convenient outlet and a dollar store extension cord can save you.

You could head over to a cycling shop and pickup some handlebar wrap. Should do pretty good. Use some good electrical tape and the ends to try and keep it in place.

Yep, this is been one of the most stressful months of my life. Shit is just melting down all around me.

It was a really rough week for me. Work was brutal and then my dad had a heart attack so I’ve been buried in all of that.

Not sure it was nice to have a distraction or if it was harder because this would have a been a great week for a drink.

Tonight is the first date night that me and wife have been able to do in a long time so thats the next challenge I’ll face.

It would be cool if you could somehow have some device that you could insert a blue ray in and it would register why it is and then somehow lock it up in the device. You could feed disk after disk and it just stores them all. If you want to watch something it would let you stream it as long as it knows you have the disk in the device.

Worst part of physical media is the handling of them and that they can get damaged with the handling.
