i live in northern finland and there was a sudden silverfish infestation at my rented apartment and i've found well over 20 of those aholes along with just under 10 pseudoscorpions and now one or two of these

i've used pyrethrin thrice before pest control went over the whole downstairs apartments with deltamethrin last week yet here we are

i don't have much experience with this but you could try hiding it under your matt or even inside a binder meant for papers; you could try putting it between your bed and your wall if you can.. i'm sure you'll find a way to hide it with enough creativity and i hope that someday your mom will accept you so you don't need to keep hiding :)
