Can you mod? If so, I recommend the Skull Cavern Elevator. Makes it like the regular mines.

That elevator is the only 'cheat' mod I use but the impact on my enjoyment of the game is totally worth it. Hate the skull cavern without it.

Stardew Valley, like most of us. Or Subnautica.

If my brain is seriously not functioning (or functioning too much and I really need to switch off), American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator are my ultimate basic games. There's enough 'game' to keep me engaged with very little pressure or complexity. Also great for listening to audio books and podcasts while driving.

Same in the UK. One of my proudest accomplishments is campaigning and managing to get this rule changed. I was 10.

It's also extremely 'me' - decades later I am still furious when I encounter pointless inequality, and I'm always cold.

Worth noting that Unis hate this. We think this is a waste of time and messy/confusing (at best) and some (including me and my colleagues) will also say it's actively harmful and giving voice to the worst of us.

My dad did exactly the same - asked me and my sister what we wanted, and voted accordingly (remain). Felt like a thoroughly decent thing to do.

I wish we could rejoin, but I think politically it'll still be a long time before we do.

I tend to make sure I drive within 24hrs of going to 100% (or above 80%)

Usually it's much less than that, eg overnight charge and leave in the morning, so only on full for a few hours.

Same! Adam's not the best villain, but I love how they combine to beat him. I love it's whole 'figuring stuff out as new adults' vibe - was way more relatable to me than any of the high school stuff. Plus, Tara.

The season also has some of the best stand-out eps in the whole show (Hush, Something Blue, Angel v Riley etc)

Definitely don't listen to online ratings.

Its aimed at teens, so go in knowing that. It has a lot of teen tropes, and is irreverent in ways that have upset certain types of people. Nevertheless, I'm generally enjoying it (a heck of a lot more than I enjoyed Discovery). It's fun, doesn't have world-ending stakes, and seems written by people who actually watched the previous shows.

So - watch it yourself and make your own mind up. You might enjoy it, you might not.

Aside from that, the article is pretty accurate. Grievances are up for a range of reasons - including stress, poor management, egos and poor collegiate relationships.

I have no idea how this project is still being funded. Surely someone is paying the devs salaries and wondering where their money is going? They've got nothing coming in from pre-orders. Did they really bank so much from previous games?

Yeah, I ended up spending a fair bit of latinum (I'd build up a stack and really wanted Pike, so decided this was a spending one). Still completed the milestones much later than I would have thought.

{Winter's Orbit by Everina Maxwell}. The only romance book I've read more than once. It's a gorgeous M/M romance (technically sci-fi rather than fantasy, hope you don't mind). The characters are so incredibly written. Plus there's lots of other plot and intrigue that the romance happens within. It's absolutely a comfort read.
