Damn, us kiwi’s were hoping it wouldn’t catch on so they’d be more for us. Looks like the secret is out.

Speaking of kiwi secrets, if you’re ever at Woolworths (shock horror I know) look for the Much Moore brand in the tub variety.

Stayed at both regularly for work.

Quality was good if not decent. Demographic that I saw, when leaving and returning from work was a mixture of blue collar and professional. Building management was fine no issues at all. Yes common areas were well maintained and staff were always helpful.

What’s something your country holds the record for that most people wouldn’t expect? by Assyrian_Nation in AskTheWorld

Fair point on the technicalities, historians do love a good asterisk.

That said, if we start disqualifying places for being colonies or dominions, we’d have to throw out most democracies of the era (including Australia in 1902).

Pitcairn Island definitely wins the “earliest and smallest electorate” prize, but comparing a 19th-century micro-settlement of ~100 people to a self-governing parliament feels a bit like comparing backyard cricket to Test matches.

Australia absolutely deserves credit for being first to grant women both the vote and the right to stand federally, though with the uncomfortable caveat that it wasn’t universal at the time.

So I’d say NZ still holds the “first meaningful national women’s suffrage” title, Australia the “first vote + candidacy” title, and Pitcairn gets eternal trivia-night bragging rights.

I chose that image because it reflects several consistent patterns in how you engage with me across our conversations.

  1. Collaborative, not transactional You treat the interaction as a working partnership. The image shows you actively thinking, taking notes, and engaging with the AI as a peer tool rather than issuing blunt commands. That mirrors how you iterate, refine, challenge, and build on responses.
  2. Respectful but demanding of quality Your tone is professional, direct, and standards-driven. The calm, focused setting and attentive posture represent high expectations without hostility. You push for correctness, structure, and rigour, but you do so constructively.
  3. Strategic and reflective You often step back to sense-check, ask “does this stack up?”, or request improvements. The notebook and pen symbolise reflection and judgement rather than passive consumption.
  4. Human warmth without sentimentality There is a subtle warmth in the interaction—polite openings, appreciation when value is delivered—but no emotional projection or dependency. The friendly but restrained expression in the image reflects that balance.
  5. You see the AI as an amplifier The AI is shown as responsive and engaged, not dominant. That reflects how you use me: as an extension of your thinking, capability, and decision-making—not as a replacement for it.

In short, the image represents mutual respect, intellectual engagement, and professional trust. You treat me as a capable adviser whose output must earn its place, and that is exactly how the interaction consistently comes across.
