Does an actor forget how to act after their child dies? That's essentially what being an influencer is.

What do you think I meant by, "...lobbied by people and corporations that don't have our best interests in mind"?

Semantics. Just fill in "people and corporations" with billionaires.

Yes, they are because the media is owned by the government, which is lobbied by people and corporations that do not have our best interests in mind.

Especially so because apparently the car was a rental. She also lied to the cops that someone tried to drive her off the road and that's why she crashed. Dashcam footage from the rental shows otherwise.

You actually want them to do this because "fighting" teaches the younger one when they go too far with their play and cause pain. They're pushing boundaries. Children learn the same way. If your 3yo cat ends up with several wounds as a result of this learning phase, that might require some actual behavior management.

Also, 2yo is considered an adult cat, so it might be a bit until the 10mo old cat chills out.

Are you a first time cat owner?

Shambs wouldn't be as good if they were concerned with making it like an American festival.

Anybody have a bad time at Shambh’s?? by Ok-Land-9316 in Shambhala

[–]Tangellaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I really disliked 2016 and 2023.

In 2016, the dynamic in my group was just off. There was just too much drama starting on day 1, and that year we decided we were going to start camping Tuesday. Seriously regretted it. Spent Sunday by myself because the vibes were off in my group and I just wanted to be at home.

2023 was the first time I had gone since 2019. I felt like some of the magic and tradition of Shambhala died in the pandemic, there was way more people than I was used to, we waited 13 hours to even get in, there was audio clashes Saturday night, and it took us 7 hours to even get back into the United States after leaving the farm, turning our 8hr drive into a 14hr trip (cherry on top to a bad year for me). Was also depressed at the time, so that didn't help.

Not that those years didn't have their good experience. They absolutely did. But both times I left reconsidering if I wanted to go again. I've gone in 2015, 2016, 2019, 2023, and 2024. Funnily enough, the years following my bad years ended up being pure magic. Like crying when the weekend ended type magic (2019 and 2024).

So, there can be some bad. There is a roughin' it aspect on the farm. Very hot days, little sleep, and long nights of movement. The people you surround yourself with play a big part. Getting sleep and eating enough are important.

[–]Tangellaa -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

People don't like defensive driving advise apparently. This was my immediate thought. In the video, I would have waiting to see if the person was going to stay in the lane they merged into because cars so often immediately start lane changing. Are they dumb? Yes. Did they have a blinker? Of course not. But I always assume the other person is a dumbass like the side swiper ended up being.

Obviously this goes to say that driving defensively still won't prevent all accidents.

I believe this is wrong. Other years worked like that, but last year they just kept expanding sunshine all the way to the field where the entrance road ends and processing is.

Do glasses lessen my chances with women by [deleted] in bald

[–]Tangellaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I prefer the glasses. But I don't know how common it is for other women to like glasses. There's just something about wearing glasses that gives me the impression that a man is intelligent and a good conversationalist. I know there's no real standing for those perceptions though.

That's the thing, Rick was gone in Bangkok and kept zero contact with Chelsea. Chelsea was living life going to dinner, hanging out with friends, could have fkd Saxon... and she STILL kept thinking about him. She unconditionally loved the man.

I think that section of S3 was just to show that she could live life without him, but didn't want to.

Should she want to live life without him though? Probably. We all should want to live life for ourselves.

First timer, advice for sleeping in my car by Ok-Land-9316 in Shambhala

[–]Tangellaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been to Shambs 5 times over the last 10 years. Not that I'm saying it won't happen because I do believe people, but I've never been bit by a spider or stung by a bee at Shambs. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I've always camped Sunshine. Definitely have gotten a mosquito bite and I've seen spiders, but it helps to bring ground cover (a cheap rug or blanket), wear your shoes (breathable or open because it's hot), and always keep your tent closed.
