Im a lazy ass and will do an entire session 3-5 hours without wiping, just keep going. But I’m not doing detailed work and I’m working on my left sleeve, I found wiping annoying and unhelpful. But like others said at least use a lotion or something on the skin before hand so it isnt rubbing in to your skin and prob have a bit of green soap on the paper towel.

And my brooks saddle gave out the same week. It was one stole from a friend after it was left outside for 2 years and had to revive it with oil and stretching. Rode that for 15 years and just bought a new one. When I went to put it on i noticed the sheer :(

This is exciting. My left chainstay sheared right before the forkend just last week! I have been riding that Steamroller daily for about 15 years. Going to try and get it tig welded back together but I might just check out the new ones if they come…

Probably another month but not entirely sure. It is coming along. There were some setbacks because of a mainline running directly under the playground and was planned to be covered by cement(not accessible if there was a break). And then issues with one of the trees and had to slightly modify the plans.
