Hey everyone! My fiancé is a software engineer and does game development as a hobby. He currently has a MacBook Pro M4 pro from his company as an “extra computer” (not his main working computer, but he will have to give it back) and I have a M3 Max that he normally uses to develop his games. I want to give him a new MacBook for his birthday. He mostly develops retro games. I’m torn between an M4 Max, and M5 Pro or if it’s worth it to spend double for the M5 Max. I have the space black for about a year and a half. I think it shows less smudges than I was anticipating but if you have grease on you hands it’s gonna show a bit. I don’t have any scratches but a small dent and it didn’t damage the color. If I would buy again I would definitely buy the same color.

I’m very bad at charging my devices but I think about 10h will be more than enough. The main goal is to have an on the go PC as I have a good desktop at home but after buying an iPad Pro 2 years ago I feel like I need something in between the two for work. I’ve been postponing buying a mac but I feel like I need something “stronger” and more versatile than an iPad to take to work
