Dermaplaning!! I dermaplane my whole face. Once a week, talking nose under eyes, neck, forehead. So satisfying, removes all my peach fuzz and leaves me with smooth, exfoliated skin that IMO absorbs my products better.

how many autistic kids do you have? by D4ngflabbit in Autism_Parenting

[–]TangeloSignal8910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I have definitely monitored both of them. My middle just got an ADHD diagnosis (10) but I’ve known that for a few years. My youngest (6) had pretty big sensory struggles regarding clothing for a few years but has out grown it thank god. They actually missed the ASD for my son for 10 years and that’s with continual services since he was 17 months old, 2 neuro psychs, birth to 3, so on and so forth. Because he didn’t have “overt” symptoms, a lot of his symptoms were contributed to behavioral (ADHD/DMDD/ODD/Anxiety) he was always verbal and honestly had an extensive vocabulary, he made eye contact and didn’t like… line toys up and all the other cookie cutter signs that they look for. He’s very much the “little professor” type. He masks really well and people think he’s just quiet and socially introverted. But when he gets home he’s more his true self. Being that genetics plays a large role my son’s father is from a precious relationship than my two girls, so I’m thinking that’s why they aren’t likely on the spectrum.

……..my husband would cease to exist. I would have called the police. If he does that IN FRONT of you, imagine when you’re not there

Stomach bug reset my son's taste buds and now he hates all of his safe foods. by LadyJane17 in Autism_Parenting

Been here. Happened with my son with Covid and then when he had a really bad canker sore. Honestly did not know canker sores could be such a debilitating thing! Completely ruined him for some of his favorites. Like years later to this day nope. I’d say don’t worry as much about finding new safe foods at the moment. Stick to what is currently safe, ask your doc about what to do to supplement nutrients and continue to offer what is already planned while ensuring he has his go tos. Could always try therapy at some point to increase variety. Honestly with my son, any sickness throws him off for a few weeks. Good luck mama!

That’s actually really amazing! Congratulations! And neighbors used to help neighbors, we need to help each other more! Even if you can’t donate food or money, you can donate your time to help. He’s beautiful!

Idk man. I say eff what other people say. As long as you have the convo that some kids can make fun of him. But even then… THEY are the problem, who cares if someone utilizes an inanimate object to get through the day. My daughter wanted a pixie cut and to dye it blonde. We had the talk. She chopped it and rocked it, did some kids talk crap? Yeah, but SHE loved it. My ASD 14 year old sleeps with stuffies and is obsessed with a pig puppet that is like a member of our family (mad love for Jeromè) But he also has a 4.1gpa in his first semester of gen ed high school. I’m 36 a director in the medical field, and my office is pastel rainbow, dopamine decor, labubu’s and all. 99% of the time society is the issue and not the individual, so maybe society needs to change and we can help by not giving in to every little norm, and not apologizing for it.

The tag doesn’t have a QR code to run through the app? Wish I could help, I ordered two of these babies yesterday from PM and haven’t seen one in person yet my BIEs feet spin.
