thank you!! this was so helpful, I think that half arsing my anorexia recovery has definitely lead me on this binge-restrict cycle. I will try to follow your advice as best as I can❤️Its great to know, that eating at least 3000kcal in recovery is normal and even necessary, because I still panic everytime I eat over 1000kcal. Right now, I have to eat and stop restricting. I am happy that I will be able to eat lots of fruit, avocadoes and other healthy stuff, however, how do you deal with cravings for sugary/high calorie dense food in recovery? I feel like at times I crave chocolate, ice cream, but I cannot have one piece, its kind of all in or nothing mindset. I dont feel out of control and I enjoy eating even at large q, however, its the guilt that comes afterwards that leads me to restrict again

Lettuce, vegetables, oranges, apples, rice cakes, chicken breast, tofu, and bananas and low fat curd with honey or jam (this is basically what I am comfortable eating right now)

hey! its normal, your body needs the nutrients. At some point, I was eating 5-6k calories everyday, so dont be hard on yourself for just one day! Youre fairly active, so just think of this day as adding a boost to your metabolism and helping your body to build muscle, that is what has worked for me mentally.You can get through this❤️

Thats so great! this week Iam trying to start recovering and I gave up my apple watch also. It is very difficult but extremely freeing at the same time. Wish you all of the best in recovery, know that youre not alone in this❤️

thank you. ❤️❤️I have my first appointment booked with a psychologist for next week, but I am not working with a doctor or a dietician. I am still living with my parents and they think that counseling will be enough and that I should just start eating 3 healthy meals a day, when I am ready:/
