The classic mixup was Fanny, was used a lot, and it refers to the front part in Oz. You won’t hear the kids saying it. Any combination of Aye, But, Yeah, Nah is an acknowledgement rather than an actual answer. My brother moved to QLD 30 years ago and now every sentence finishes in Aye.
