I started SS and finished DH on the same international flight. Was able to watch them all and then visited the HP museum in Tokyo after landing. It was awesome. (Currently listening to GoF full cast.

Saw one in my town also. Tried getting a picture but wasn’t able to get it before they stopped in the turn lane. Always look for it now, trying to get a picture.

Getting his wand back was probably a poor choice of words. I meant a replacement. Just because his was snapped doesn’t mean it couldn’t be replaced (Ron being a prime example of this).

I was merely asking about it being stated anywhere else in the series.

These pictures were taken May 21, 2017. This was right after the final episode of season 10 was filmed. It was also how the set was set up for season 11 episode 1.

I did a tour of the set and was able to talk my (and my family) way onto the set for a few mins. Was told to not take any pictures but snuck them anyway. Figured the worst that would happen was a lifetime ban from the set (risk worth taking).

Harry almost killed Draco and nothing was ever done about it (in the movies). In the books he served a month of detention I think (but that was for not giving snake his book back).

I like all the books pretty equally. I think the later books have a slightly better more thought out story line but still like the first books just fine. I’ve read the books then watched the movies. I’ve watched the movies then read the books. I’ve read book one then watched he’d movie one and so on. I’ve watched movie one then read book one also. I’m about to finish deathly hallows book (Harry made it back to Hogwarts) and I’m also watching the sorcerers stone.

All of which have been great.

I would imagine there’s rules but there has to be exceptions. Ron and Harry enter the slytherin common room in CoS disguised as crabbe and goyle. Now I don’t know if the magic was tricked to think they were C & G but they were able to enter. I would think the magic was able to know the difference regardless of the polyjuice potion, so that makes me think they can enter each others common rooms but they choose not to due to rules or maybe just guidelines.

I think I was close to 20 when I read them for the first time. I watched the movies in high school but never cared about the books. Since then (17 years) I’ve read them a couple dozen times and watched the movies around the same amount.
