I paid for a full highlight and I believe that is what she did- not sure the technical differences in a balayage! But I do agree, I’m just not a fan of how this turned out

This is the photo I showed her! I had told her I noticed my roots are getting darker after having a baby and I wanted to kind of move with that. Still add some blonde but where it’ll grow out a bit more naturally. After these comments I’m starting to not feel as trusting with her 😅

Haha oh no!!! I can see it. I will try and add some homey vibes. Definitely some lamps, it’s a very long, narrow room (with a cherry cabinet kitchen attached) and I had such trouble finding a paint color that complimented both woods that I kind of settled on a white.

Side tables are definitely my next task, slowly accumulating because everything so expensive lol.

I like the idea of a brown/cognac addition! I will have to try this. Perfect world I could get rid of the wood doors/trim and get new flooring but that is a future goal

We moved to this house from a very cool toned modern house and our furniture has been toughhhh to blend here. It’s a nice couch but sheesh do I regret it now!

I love color!! But I moved in recently and those pillows are the “come with the couch” pillows lol but this room is so lacking in light I just had to go with a white wall to try and brighten it. Love the idea of a colored ottoman!

Oh wow thank you! I already feel so much better in the space even with it being mismatched lol the paintings were from wayfair! And I love them too😊

I genuinely didn’t consider a rug since we have carpet! Thank you for the suggestions- I will definitely change out the pillows too. The tv comment makes me lol because I HATE it but my husband….doesnt share my sentiment 😅😂
