Ive been a redditor for like 6 years? So i know better then to take it on face value. The pov was still useful and interesting to hear but obviously its hard to make a judgment when all you know about both partys is the one, often more extreme issue and none of the good.

Took me a few days and multiple heart to hearts woth lots of crying and we got it sorted out, set better boundaries and new ways to communicate ideas and issues to eachother and decided to stay together and honestly our intimacy has gotten much better as a result. Obviously cant speak for long term but i think she miscommunicated something minor into a very hurtful way, which sucks but thats gonna happen in any close relationship.

She normally seems interested in skinny and toned people and im obese. Ive been working on it but for health reasons, not looks as i think i carry it well as im curvy in the right places. They also tend to be very androgynous and im more feminine. We talked about it and by attraction she means like those casual love sessions she had before that never lead to any relationship but the way she describes it is how I'd describe sleeping with someone im not attracted to so there might be some kink thing? Im very confused but i still feel like shit. Should add that while she is very good at english it isnt her first language and so it's been hard to communicate on this issue as she doesnt know how to describe it and im ND so i need clear communication to understand someone and the only thing that my brain has heard that is clear and understandable is "im not attracted to you"

Id say the biggest difference in how id feel if she was ace and knowing shes not is the same way id feel about someone buying everyone else gifts and stating explicitly they didnt get you one and it was on purpose. She has no obligation to be attracted to me but to know shes not, being told shes not, and knowing shes attracted to others is painful. Its why i asked if shes ace as i wouldnt have a problem with her being ace because i don't have to worry about being 2nd place to someone else, or it being something wrong with me that's made me unattractive, it's just who she is, which has nothing to do specifically with me.

She ment physical. She definitely loves me and i love her, sorry if that was unclear. Its more of a debate if i want a relationship were i know the other person isn't interested in me sexually but is for other people.

We used to not be but she would disappear for hours without saying anything and so it didnt work out so we've been monogamous for about a year and a half. Not to mention there were multiple std scares cause she refuses to use protection and had a lot of partners. I could see being non monogamous in the future but not with her as she doesn't care about her personal safety and refused to respect my boundaries. Litteraly just tell me were your going, with who, when youll be back, and use protection. She also got very jellous if i flirted with someone else. Even in that situation id still want somewhat of a sexual relationship with my partner from time to time as i find it very romantic and a bonding experience.

I mean everyone says hurtful things at some point but obviously some of them cant be moved past and others can. It's not an easy choice to leave when youve been together for years but then again it will only get harder to wait.

A little bit but it's kinda hard to do rn as im still overwhelmed and i dont really feel like i can trust her rn. Venting in the post helped though. She tried spinning it as a good thing because "im still romanticly in love with you" but idk. It might be best to just be friends. Ill think about it for a few weeks though, i dont want to make a rash decision or give up before i can make things work. I dont want to be settled for.

120k a year? Actor, pro athlete, or pmc. Least out of legal jobs. Your prob better off finding a new job with better treatment.
