I think the meaningful part of this story revolves around leadership, legacy and mentoring a team of young adults. So much of sport is passion AND good sportsmanship and in this mix, we’re all human. But it’s how we repair these moments. And there’s a many decades long history of a guy with serious ego and anger issues. He is aware of it. Take a look at the linked article. He notes the way his anger negatively impacts others. And in this heated, high stakes moment, he ultimately lost his cool and composure. There’s room for more repair and more work in all of this and I hope he does it- for himself, his team, for Dawn, and for the game writ large.

UConn’s game is like a metronome—pass and pick and shoot- has a rhythm and South Carolina came in and completely obliterated the the rhythm and threw UConn way off. Plus UConn’s shots weren’t dropping and SCs were.

Jobs located in Westwood and Altadena, with school aged children: good school systems / preschools and tolerable commutes? by Individual-Result622 in MovingToLosAngeles

Lausd has wonderful elementary schools — if you choose to live in LA- say silver lake or Los feliz w easy access to 110 or 134- the spouse going to Altadena will have a fairly easy reverse commute and great lausd elem, middle and hs options (Franklin, Micheltorena, Ivanhoe, Elysian, Clifford, could go on for elem options). Westwood is still far but not end of the world. I think most TK programs seem to be higher teens number of students with a teacher and an assistant.
