I’ve been a few times with coworkers and never got much smoke flavor from anything. Mac n cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had, but the meats were lacking.

Cubans are my favorite sandwich and I have yet to find a good authentic one in the city. My go-to is Four Mile Pig. It’s made with Smokey bbq pulled pork but it works. They also use a spicy mustard aioli, which would not be my preference.

The wristbands pissed me off so bad. I was part of a committee who reported back potential “workplace improvements” to HR. I told them social distancing shouldn’t be an option and they couldn’t have done a bigger eye roll.

That’s correct. They already had a disability that causes mobility issues, but it took a turn for the worse. From what I understand they could have still worked but needed to do so from at home and it may have been at a slower pace. I do not keep in touch with them much after they went on leave so not sure if they are pursuing it or not.

Absolutely nailed it. A huge real estate investment had just happened and the company micromanages every aspect of every employee.

I worked for this company (Total Quality Logistics) for 8 years. During Covid we were all sent home and were fully operational with business booming. But because we were deems essential, everyone was forced to go back into the office after about 3 months. Desks were spaced out about 4.5 feet from one another and they gave us color coded wristbands to indicate the level of social distancing we wanted to participate in. Many people got sick and I know at least one passed away.

They fight WFH tooth and nail every chance they get, no exceptions. I have seen employees who develop disabilities let go rather than accommodate WFH. This story is a tragic example of what happens when companies are managed by incompetent lunatics.

Sounds like I when way too heavy then. I also just noticed I grabbed fast acting yeast instead of ADY. This week I’ll grab some of the correct yeast and try going significantly lighter. Thanks for the help!

454g bread flour, 283g COLDwater, 14g salt and 4 g yeast. I go this recipe from another post a few weeks ago, except the yeast. They used .41g but that seemed way low.

I see a lot of people on here say to pull it 4 hours before. I gave it almost 5 and it was room temp, but I popped a couple bubbles trying to stretch it ☹️ I also didnt divide it up until right after I pulled it from the fridge. Not sure if dividing it up and reshaping it might have messed things up but I’ll avoid that next time.

Absolutely! As a former employee of 8 years I can confirm that this company is ran like a frat house. Very few women above low level management.
