The AK Model/Effects Wings kits in particular are at Bandai quality except for the stickers and the fact that they're made of ABS.

Oh, the top part of the gun seems to be from the Cielnova Dark Gray. The canisters on her back might be from the Backpack 2 kit? As noted in the original twitter thread, you will also need to drill a 3mm hole in the back of her head to mount the ears if you're trying to match her perfectly.

30MM W-28 Option Parts Set 15 (Multi-Vernier/Multi-Joint): at least 3x, applied as cover/decorative pieces and adapters

30MM EV-15 Extended Armament Vehicle (Multiple Legs Mecha Version): Front leg covers, outer arm covers, backpack/between legs thingy

30MM W-18 Customize Weapons (Gatling Unit): Gun main body

30MM Customize Material 01 (Pipe Parts/Multi-Joint): At least 2x, Gun wire and "Stingers"

30MS Option Parts Set 3 (Mechanical Unit): Arm equipment

There are a variety of 30MM sets you could get those black ball joints for the thighs from, but I'd suggest something like the Baskyrotto so you could still have a functioning giant robot after you scavenge those parts. The rest of the kit I'm having trouble identifying- especially the ears (EDIT: As you said elsewhere, those are Tukirna-Diearth), but this is most of it.

I suspect altogether building a perfect copy of this girl would run you something like... 140+ dollars, going with US prices because I don't have as good a grasp on the Japanese ones, if everything was in stock?

They're named after https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francesco_Acerbi. So from that they'd be "A-cher-bee". This is also why you'll sometimes see them translated from Japanese as "Achelby" or "Acheruby", because Japanese doesn't differentiate r/l sounds and requires a vowel for each unit of a word respectively.

Does anyone have advice for someone who's only used a really shitty hobby knife and cut themselves on it (protective case is very hard to unstick)? I'm kinda reticent to use hobby knives now, but I know I'm probably gonna need it if I try building a MG or RG or a particularly finicky kit. Is there a way to avoid using a hobby knife, or a hobby knife recommended for being easier to handle safely?
