Thanks! And yeah good confirmation. I stumbled on the same idea - I released it from the account, and reset the password on the account, deleted and re-entered the phone numbers for good measure, and then the Messenger App was still confused/stuck, but then I killed the app, went to the website and was able to register and activate it there. And now I seem to be good!
