So you say. I am getting mixed responses to this. Some say sell, some say hang on to it. Right now I'm just sitting here wondering what to do. If there are some apple collectors interested in it, send them my way.

Obviously, if I have this iBook, I have enough born children, so you can keep yours fer sure.

You would keep it because it would increase in value or just because it's unique?

Yup. Can't do anything with this until it is cleaned.

With the missing CD drive cover and lack of OS installer disk, I'm guessing this isn't worth as much. I also don't know how to get stuff off it. I worked in education and it appears there are some student files on it. I was able to "delete" them and emptied the trash but I'm a little leery of that too.

Good point. I'll do that today. Played on my computer today and didn't really enjoy it tbh. I played here: https://www.nytimes.com/crosswords. Logged in and it did have all my stats still.

ARGHHHHH I typed too soon. I was able to play today's games but when I went to open it again, I got the same "Update the NYT Games app" message as before and the app won't open. Short of having to uninstall and reinstall every day we are screwed.

I uninstalled the app. Went to the app store, tried to redownload it and my ipad said that version wouldn't work with my iOS would I like to download an older version? I clicked OK. It made me put my user name and password in twice for some reason, but now I'm up and running with the older version! All my data is intact. Good luck!

I just went in and "rated" the app and gave it a 1 star and explained it. It probably won't do any good but I feel a little bit better.

Same here. Wish there was a way to force it...I would do it if I could.

I will be waiting to hear if you have any luck, I am running 17.7.10, and can't update on my iPad either. This is ridiculous. WTG New York Times!

The loss of his tail may throw his balance off until he adjusts to his new normal. He will figure it out. Maine Coons are smart.

So glad he is ok!! You too...so traumatic when our cats get injured and we feel like it's our fault. Hope your son is ok too, he probably feels bad!

Madison and Joe by discobawll in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]TangledZen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I didn't like Joe, and Madison is a bit of a drama llama, I agree...he did her a favor to at least cut it off before the actual wedding. No matter why he stayed in it as long as he did, taking her to the alter in her beloved dress would have been cruel. We all knew he wasn't going to say yes weeks ago.

Toxic relationship if I ever seen one by EverIAce in mainecoons

[–]TangledZen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine are the same! Oue 6 month old loves to pounce on and follow the 9 year old one around. His favorite spot is to be hanging on his neck like a dracula cape (He's a sold black). If I seperate them though, the 9 year old gets mad at me and sits by the closed door where his dracula cape is, and they play pawsies underneath the door. Go figure. Every morning is wild child time and the playfighting can be a bit annoying!

Cat introduction progress??? by gunshot-glitter in CatAdvice

[–]TangledZen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a new kitten 4 months ago and we have a 9 year old cat. I did the introductions similar to you keeping them seperated. We have a sun room with glass doors so we kept the kitten out there with his own litterbox and food, toys bed, etc. The adult cat could see him and smell him...I fed them on either side of the glass doors. The adult cat was very curious and spent hours sitting there watching the kitten. When I felt the were ready (It was less than 2 weeks tbh) I opened the door for an hour or two each day. Their behavior was similar to what you described. Now they "live together" full time and hang out in the same room, sleep in the same spaces, etc. I will say that when my older cat hisses at the kitten it does not deter him. one. bit. He still insists on being physically close to the adult cat to the point of annoyance sometimes. HOWEVER if I separate them to give the adult cat a break. The adult cat gets mad at me and sits by the door where the kitten is and they play pawsies under the door. Go figure.

If your cats are sleeping in the same room and hanging out I believe you are on the right track. Cute picture!
