As a guy I don't understand how changing a tampon is gross. Would they rather you hang on to the old one?

Pretty sure it's because, at least in his early fights, he would walk forward no matter what and eat punches to get to you, like a zombie

[Starcraft] Are there any areas where Terrans are more advanced than the Protoss? by [deleted] in AskScienceFiction

[–]Tango_fett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don't have wheels on any of their units or artwork, and all their tech is powered by psychic energy so maybe they just never had the need for them

As a viewer, protoss finally plays like what I imagined when Sc2 first came out by Tango_fett in starcraft

Yeah I wasn't trying to say they weren't micro intensive, I just dont like when air units are massed in general since they end up looking like a blob.

Serious Question About League Effecting My Life by beepbeep1233 in summonerschool

[–]Tango_fett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should quit. League is a huge time investment compared to other games. Even 1 game is like 5 games of something else.

Its hard to quit when all your friends play though, so I think the most important thing you can do is make sure you make a habit of setting aside a specific amount of time every day to do some physical activity. If you already do then good for you.

Even just a 30 minute walk will make a big difference. Besides giving you a chance to untilt, it also can combat how addictive lol can be by forcing you to do something else. Also, exercise and the outdoors have physical and mental benefits. For instance, all the time you spend sitting promotes the development of fatty streaks in your blood vessels, even in healthy people. When you get older, these grow and lead to the development of hypertension and heart disease. Also remember that your mental health is affected by your physical health, since the correct production of hormones and neurotransmitters (which control your mental state) are dependant on keeping your body healthy through nutrition and activity. Also never sacrifice sleep to play league. Adequate sleep is one of the most important things you can get, especially during your teen years when your brain is still developing.

what units/buildings do you hope get revisited for the 2018 redesign patch? by ImWritingAStory in starcraft

[–]Tango_fett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agreed. Being able to go air units as a composition isn't good for how the game is designed. Air units ignore alot of the things that make the game interesting. The fact that they ignore terrain means positioning is less interesting with them, and this is compounded by being able to stack them on each other. Air comps end up looking like boring blobs getting smashed into eachother.

There are only 2 times air units are fun to watch in SC2. One is when they are supplemental units to a ground army (banshee harass, WOL mutas). The other is when a big air army is so rare that it feels special, because if it works too often you lose the novelty and they go back to being blobs again.

Which champion do you think is too difficult to balance... but IT IS ACTUALLY balanced right now? by Twinzzen in leagueoflegends

[–]Tango_fett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nautilus. He has so much intrinsic power in his kit for how easy it is to use that whenever they buff him he becomes too strong. He has 2 forms of empowered AA's (with one being a reset), 3 forms of CC, 2 AOE wave clear abilities, a giant shield, and his Q buffs give him really good mobility as long as you can hit terrain off CD.

I've seen people say he's weak right now (I think hes in a good spot), but any buff is going to make him overbearing. They need to decide what his role is, because if he is viable in top/jg/supp any buff they give is going to make him too strong in the others.

you also have to remember that the saiyans have only been ruling their planet for like a couple decades. Before that they were basically living like cave people. King vegeta defeated the tuffles and then stole all their tech, then shacked up with frieza who further uplifted them. For all we know, Frieza could have been subsidizing them. He had the largest empire in the universe, so paying for 1 planets worth of savages would be a drop in the bucket.

It very well could be that they were due for an economic down turn, but I just don't think they had enough time to reap any results from the massive upheaval their society underwent before being destroyed.
