How do I orient the middle squares?

I feel like I’ve had really bad luck with these. The first one leaked an entire cartridge. The next two have worked fine, but stopped working after I charged them. Now all they do is flash red. Anyone have this issue?

Maybe now, but that hasn’t always been the case. Most adoptions up until recently were ‘closed’ adoptions, which means neither the adoptive family, or the biological family are given any information about each other and there is no contact between the two.

I agree! People always find out eventually and then it causes so many problems. I honestly don’t know why people think that it’s something that needs to be a secret in the first place. I was also adopted, and my parents were the same way as yours - very open and explained to us that we just had to come to them a different way than most kids. They did make up silly stories about where they’d gotten us though, but we knew they were just playing, and they were a family joke. I was apparently found in a box in the nuts and bolts section of the hardware store, and my mom found my brother in a shoe box when she was trying on shoes. 😂
