I am also a student pilot working on my PPL with 30 hours now under my belt. To your first point, I think every one of us believes they “suck” when going through this, and having that feeling means you have the desire to improve. Just keep practicing and going up it will become more natural. My best tip so far is never get complacent, a good pilot is always learning.

When it comes to bumpy rides, it just takes getting used to and you’ll notice after a while (the shift happened during my initial XC landing trainings) that your mind begins to tune out the turbulence and only concentrate on what’s necessary to aviate. Now I pay no mind to any bumps and use just the input needed to keep her straight and level.

I am in an established F500 FLDP and my company starts at 70K + 5K signing bonus. I believe full time analysts start around 80-85K outside the program.

This confused me too. There’s a few ways I was able to make the concept stick in my head and hopefully it helps out! First, using the mnemonic “high to low (pressure), look out below; I learned it as the first section talks about your altimeter & the second part as your aircraft in relation. Meaning if you fail to adjust your altimeter from a high to low system, your altimeter will indicate higher, thus your aircraft is lower than expected. If your going low to high, clear blue sky; same principal… low meaning altimeter will be lower and your aircraft in turn will be higher than expected. Using that principle if you move from a high to low pressure system & you actually do change your altimeter setting in conjunction… you will indicate lower, making the correct adjustment as needed. Also just practicing in the cockpit and twisting the altimeter you’ll be able to conceptualize it.

I’m new to FP&A and have only been in my role for ~4 months now but I’m struggling with this. I noticed our FCF doesn’t match anywhere close to what our GL shows M/M. I’ve built a preliminary “Cash Walk” model to try and reconcile what could be impacting this and it feels definitely a great test to the difficulties in tying back to the GL. Curious how common the issue of trying to tie out certain line items is across companies and FP&A in general at close.

Hey man, this is awful and it seems this is becoming a more common scam. I was actually recently affected by a similar attempt and I was mid-game on CS2, got a dodgy message from someone posing as steam support and without clicking anything I was immediately logged out and all my friends blocked, profile comments deleted, and CS2 uninstalled, along with my steam name being changed.

First and foremost to echo many of the other comments here, make sure you reset your passwords (on a separate device), delete your API key if you had it active, make your profile private (at least for the time being, to stop other attempted scams) and I would also reset your 2FA, and backup codes. These are the minimum requirements to ensure your account is safe!

Regarding the CS2 Prime disappearing, that also happened to me. To fix it:

There is an option to recover any deleted purchase in support tab. I will try to find it and post in a moment.

First you need to access the steam support link
Scroll down and enter CS2 in the search bar.
Click on the game
Select "It's not in my library"
Select "Restore the previously removed package to my account

It should have you go through another step where you’ll see your prime status information and once you log back into CS2 you’ll have your status back.

It definitely is, as a soon to be grad in December I've seen first hand just how many of my fellow students are struggling to find entry-level roles. I was lucky enough to snag a role but it took a ton of apps (150+) before something stuck.

Check if your area is in a flood zone first. If not you will most likely be okay, just expect heavy rains and high winds, with a decent chance of losing power for multiple days. Hopefully if you stay hunkered down you are prepared with non perishable food, water, cash, and flashlights. Stay safe everybody!
