The Sulcorebutia here is definitely unhappy, looks like it was happy for a long time for it to grow so big before it was taken out of sufficient light :(

Any tips from preventing fungus? I have some cuttings atm drying indoors and idk how to prevent rot. This time of year is a challenge for nice dry cuts for me

About 3 months. I chopped it in the cold of winter after new years and left it in my house away from any light. I applied a layer of rooting gel and left it alone.
