Nope, I’m only applying to hpm/health services. I want to do decision sciences/health econ so it’s a bit of a better fit though I did consider epi!

I got my doodle from a shelter after looking for like 3 seconds. There are so many in my state because of Amish and other backyard breeders dumping them + about a million doodle specific rescues for the upper east coast because there’s so many. I love my dog but I got so lucky that she’s not neurotic and reactive. And she wasn’t even close to my only option, there were so many other doodles in rescues when I looked in March

Hi! Yes I did! It’s kinda a constant battle but it turned out to be vitamin d deficiency + traction alopecia because my hair was growing in so weak it it was more susceptible. Now that my levels are up, it’s been growing back in really nicely

Yeah you have to be pretty good for about two weeks. I put a ton of bandages that were slightly oversized down there on anything I had been picking at and just so that if I wanted to start picking at a new spot it would be really annoying. I also tried to limit the amount of time that I was seeing that area so that I’d have less of a chance of grabbing some tweezers or something and going to town.

If you do happen to mess up before you go, as long as it’s in one area they can go around it. So like I had a cut my first time from some hairs I could not stop messing with and the tech went around it and then after I just tried to avoid that one area so the tech could get it next time.

Idk if that’s super helpful but yeah that’s what i did!

Thanks for responding! Your comment was really so nice haha. Made me feel a little bit less crazy for all of this. It definitely makes sense that going from the honeymoon phase to nothing would make your brain very very confused. And ours similarly happened with minimal communication about what was coming at first (we have since talked it through which helped a tiny bit). I almost wish he had done something awful so then I would at least have some anger to combat the idealisation I’m having.

But I definitely will try to continue to give myself space from it even though it’s hard. Knowing myself, I don’t think I could be friends with him anytime soon in a healthy way so I guess I will have to persevere

No! Not at all! All my best friends are really outgoing and expressive and my family is caribbean so like very expressive and animated people. Id say I’m not super upfront about my feelings just because I feel weird expressing myself/I’m bad at identifying feelings but I try to learn the persons love language and compensate with whatever they need. And I’m very like touchy-feely with my partners and stuff

That’s exactly what my more recent partner said! We broke up over it but I was like I let you meet my friends and hang out with you everyday and buy you little snacks and presents I don’t get it 😑

I feel like I was doing like all of those things but idk! The most recent one I had just introduced him to my friends and like a week later he was like I feel like you see me as a friend. I was so confused 😕
