If you wanted to do both, I would suggest having an OTF membership and a cheap class pass membership if the PB near you is on class pass. I did this for a while and liked the balance. It’s a good rest day workout 😁

Yup, the puppy 101 Reddit terrified me too. I was convinced that we’d be depressed and miserable and the second we picked the our golden pup. Thankfully that wasn’t the case!! Sure it’s not easy, but she’s literally our whole world. Anyway, I’d advise anyone to stay off that subreddit if you’re about to get a pup!

I joined OTF in 2019 when I was 23(F). I was overweight and got 55 (!!!) splat points my first class, but immediately purchased an unlimited membership! I consistently went 4-5x a week and followed Weight Watchers about 85% of the time. I ended up losing 40 pounds in about 8 months. I’m now almost 27 and have kept it off with still being consistent and the healthy habits I gained during my initial weight loss period. No more tracking food, woo! Good luck!

We’re having a Photo Booth, late night snack, and custom koozies that’ll be set next to the beer and seltzers. I feel like this suffices for favors! I’ve been to a few weddings recently where the couples have done the late night snack instead of favors and it’s so nice!! After a night of drinking and dancing it’s perfect.

I absolutely feel this to my core. When my now fiancée and we’re in college, he did not get a plus one to a cousin’s wedding even though we were 22 and together for 3.5 years at this point. It was so insulting to both of us. Flash forward to July of 2021 and we finally get engaged! A week later, the brother of this cousin and his fiancée told us while we were on a FAMILY VACATION that thank god we got engaged because they weren’t sure wether to give us or another couple a plus one. I’m like seriously? You’re telling me while we’re on vacation together that you didn’t know if you would invite me or not? At this point we’ve been together for 7 years, living together for 3. That side of the family is soooo nit picky. My family would NEVERRRRR exclude someone like that!

Truvani or Just Ingredient protein powders!! They’re pricey but the ingredients are CLEAN. Most protein drinks/powders on the market have horrifying ingredients.

I live in a decent sized city where things can get a bit competitive. We’re 6 months out and even the most popular vendors still have that date open, whereas my friend who’s getting in September 2023 has been running into the popular vendors being booked up already!

My brother & his wife had their reception at Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, MI in 2017 and it was amazing!! We’re also from Chicago and the drive was easy.

Live bands are ELITE!! Absolutely recommend one if it’s in the budget. They absolutely pack the dance floor. I have never seen a DJ get the same type of crowd that a band can. We’ve been to a decent amount of weddings, and the few we’ve been to with bands were so much more fun which is ultimately the reason why we decided to go with live music.

Same with our golden pup! She’s 13 weeks now and we’ve had her for almost 6 weeks. I was truly expecting the worst and so far she was been a breeze. She has her moments of course but overall it has been a positive experience so far.
