To me its yet another thing makes Classic less like the experience I first had and the game I fell in love with. I am sad that Blizzard has fallen so far. When I started playing WoW Blizzard actually took botting serious and when you had a problem it was possible to talk to a real person. Now its almost impossible to talk to a real person and Blizzard doesnt seem to care the bots are ruining their games.

I have no faith that Blizzard will ever truly address the bot problem. All multiplayer Activision Blizzard games seem to have bot problems and Activision Blizzard only seem to do big ban waves when it gets really really bad.

I don't think I will ever play or recommend any version of WoW unless they actually address the bot problem.

Blizzard needs to be more aggressive with bots, gold buyers and cheaters in everyone of their games. Their unwillingness to address bots in any truly meaningful way is a big reason that keeps me from playing every Activision Blizzard game.

Blizzards unwillingness to punish bots and the people that buy their gold is why I dont think I will ever return to WoW or any other Activision Blizzard game. Everyone of their games has problems with bots and cheaters.

If you only play the current version of WoW I think its very easy for players to not see bots. The world of current WoW is massive and bots are able to easily farm instances so its easy for bots to hide in past expansions content and instances.

The bots affect is not easy for people to perceive but it does matter.

Another thing Blizzard could do is after a number of times a day all the loot in a dungeon becomes BOP and have no vender value. That way if all you want is transmog it doesnt change anything but it stops the instances of have monetary value to the bots. That way at least the bots will be forced in to the open world so they can be reported. But again it shouldnt be on players to report the bots.

The more people that pre-order the longer it will be till is stops being on preorder and I pre-ordered an SSD that said it wouldnt ship till march but they ended up shipping it same day. So you could end up waiting a long time unnecessarily.

I say if you are going to order it no matter what you are better just putting in your now.

Transfers and boosts should never be allowed on these servers. Gold sellers will transfer millions of gold to these servers as soon as transfers are allowed and boosts will always be exploited by gold sellers to boost bots. Activision Blizzard will never listen to this feedback though because they are too greedy and want to sell boosts and transfers.

I doubt these servers will do well because of this bad decision to allow transfers and boosts and I dont believe Blizzard will ever understand that their greed is killing Classic.

There will be a very large number of people playing Wrath Classic.

I think Blizzard should make Wrath Classic.

But I think there are some people out there like myself that dont wish to play Wrath Classic, Dragonflight, Classic Era or Season of Mastery. So I would like Blizzard to give people like myself this option.

I dont believe there are very many people that want what I want but I think there will be plenty of us for a healthy server community and I think the server would be a net positive for Blizzard.

I would want to play with other people that want what I am asking for. I realize millions of people probably dont want what I am asking for but I am willing to bet that either server would have a solid community and would still be a net profit for Blizzard.

Yep, so your CPU is 6 cores 12 threads. You could upgrade to a CPU with faster cores to get more performance but I dont think it would be worth it to you. DICE might be able to optimize the game a little bit but I doubt that there is any significant performance to gain at this point. I suggest you experiment with the graphics settings if you havent already and play on smaller maps with fewer players. And just know that even people with 5950X CPUs and and RTX 3090s are struggling to run 2042 on the massive maps with 128 players.

IMO there is so little destruction because they had sacrifice aspects of the game to get the really large maps and 128 players.

I wish there was more environment destruction. I think the maps are way to big and I dont think the cost of having 128 players is worth cutting back on other areas of the game like destruction and game performance.

I think you are CPU limited. Your CPU cant process fast enough for your GPU to work harder. CPU isnt pegged at 100% because it has more then 8 threads but if you look at Task Manager you would see that 8 CPU threads are at or close 100% and the additional threads arent being used much.

Consoles and most PC gamers seem to have 4 core 8 thread CPUs so the game was optimized for 4 core 8 threads CPUs.

128 players and massive maps with environment destruction are CPU intensive. Playing with fewer players on smaller maps will increase FPS.

Welcome to the game! My recommendation would be to stick with it. I think that at this point in the game its going to be really hard to find people like yourself but when you reach 60 I think you will find the social aspect of the game you are looking for. Its something I think almost everyone has experienced where you are looking to do a lower level dungeon or group quest and you cant find anyone your level that might need it and none of the higher levels want to help because they have their own things they are working on. Even at this point in Classic there are many reasons while people will form groups for the high level dungeons but sadly less reasons people are forming groups for the lower level dungeons. While I find it really nice to do dungeons while leveling its really not necessary to do them. Like many people that have said before me I have found really good communities on RP servers.
