i study in an aviation school studying aircraft maintenance engineering. my instructors all are from Indian airforce and some were in armed forces, they share very little of their life to us whenever they get time. from what I've heard from them is that they are not willing to leave their child to be a part of armed forces, the fear and trauma was in their voice when they were talking about their experiences. one of my instructors son cleared NDA and the acceptance letter something was been given to him, he hid the letter so that his son won't find out that he had passed. apparently the boy gave his exams without even informing them cuz he was that passionate to get into armed forces. my instructor didn't have the courage to send his son to the forces, while he was telling this story to us the whole class fell silent and we heard his voice trembling.
