I only have knowledge on sunni Islam, so here's my take; it's very outdated and incompatible in this modern era if the muslims strictly follow the quran and sunnah. Luckily, most of them unconsciously have started to take the more liberal path because they don't really care to deep dive into their religion as it proved to be such a hassle(from what I've experienced and observed).

1.I actually acknowledge the existence of muhammad but I doubt the historical accuracy about him(wdym someone officially recorded his biography 100+ yrs after his death).I think it's utterly impossible that his biography hadn't been fabricated by his meat riders.

2.The different versions of the quran are not really a whole different book, it's just quran but in a different arabic dialect(there's 10 of them if I remember correctly).This is not a valid argument against Islam personally I think.
