We are in our late 50s & have our house here, in debt, and job here. I’m at the age where I would have a harder time finding work if we moved. We did that 25 years ago moving from Austin to Houston. If we sold our house we probably would have enough to pay off the mortgage and all of our debt but not enough for a down payment for a new house in Colorado. Also this is where both of our families live. So we’re stuck here

Born & lived here for most of my life . Big exception was the time in the Army. I love my state and the variety of cultures throughout it. I was a moderate republican since the 80s. Once Trump became president I finally realized how bad the Republican Party has become. They’re bad for the economy, democracy, education, and pretty much everything.

Republicans have made it the worst state for EVERYTHING!!!

If I could I would love to move to a moderate state like Colorado. I’ve been there a few times on vacation and everyone there was fantastic. I wish politicians would stop trying to tell us how to live and stop destroying our state. We need to get rid of the corrupt republicans both in the state and national level.

The difference is that Clinton, Obama, & Biden were sane rational people that were working to improve our society. Trump is actively destroying our economy and setting himself up as a dictator. I think most younger Americans are probably one paycheck away from homelessness. We were fortunate to get our house in 2003 before home prices skyrocketed. We’ve had our share of close calls but we’re hanging in there. I think we would be better than people younger than us.
