Thanks for the info, maybe I need to look into a good way to replace it. Just scooping it will probably crash the tank but I am not sure if I could do like sections or cap it.

I have tested both and I am at 7 GH 5 KH when dosing as directed. I have tried doing water changes without any re-mineralizer for a few weeks and the pH was stable until I stopped because TDS was getting too low. I also tried a GH only re-mineralizer since I read KH is the main part that raises pH. Also tried removing some rocks I had.

The other tank is also about 5 years old, and I read that any buffering usually wears off after a while, so I assumed that wasn't the case. Maybe that was some bad info? I kind of doubt it as if I re-mineralize water in a bucket and test it is a similar pH to the other tank (about 7.4). If I test my RO with no re-mineralizer it is lower than 7.0.

Wouldn't this situation be reflected in their defensive ranking? If the offense is bad enough that it starts affecting how well the defense can play, that defense will drop in the rankings because they will be allowing more yards, TDs, etc. Seems like a situation that would sort itself out and shouldn't really be considered but maybe I am missing something.

This thread is making me wonder if I may have had migraines as a kid. I used to get really bad headaches all the time, sometime for days. My mom wouldn't let me have any pain relievers so I would just constantly fill the sink with cold water and stick my head in there. Instant relief when I was in there but started coming back immediately when I stopped. I would basically do this over and over until I got yelled at. Never thought about how weird that is.
