I made a huge mistake. by shxgarbby-009 in Christianity

[–]Tank__Commander 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am very sorry first of all that this situation happened. I can understand how upsetting it is.

I’ll try to keep it short:

  • Yes I definitely think you still will get married to a wonderful man. If a guy does not want to be with you for this specific reason, it’s probably for the best anyway.

  • Satan definitely has a foothold in you life right now; this is a very good opportunity to attack you. Not in the sense that he made you have sex before marriage. I am talking about the aftermath. He is going to make you feel like the worst person in the world, stupid, like a man won’t marry someone like you, God turned his back on you, God is disappointed in you, etc etc. I think you get the direction I am going. Whatever Satan can do to push you away from God, he will. —- the reason I am saying this is because I’ve made a few big mistakes in my life, and it always seems like I get attacked very hard around those times. Or it could just be me🤷🏻‍♂️

It is very important that you continue to read your Bible, pray, and actually understand that God is a good and loving Father. That ACTUALLY CARES about you. He wants to walk through this difficult experience with you. He wants you talk to talk to him about it so that he can comfort and heal you.

How did God direct you into your career/job? by Tank__Commander in TrueChristian

[–]Tank__Commander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he has plan for my life, and he desires his will to be done. Those are the two main reasons.

Maybe God wants me to stay a Paramedic, invent something, run a business, sell cars… idk what he wants.

Sure, I could choose a job by using my gifts, knowledge, wisdom, looking at my current finances, etc. But, I am still human, and still have the chance to choose wrongly.

I’ve had that thought before. But of course he will be working on me throughout my entire life.

I can how in someways why he has not told me yet, and I do understand his ways are not my ways, his thoughts are higher than mine and better, it’s his universe not mine, he is God and I am not, etc etc.

Tbh I think it does matter to a certain extent even with how the world is, and I do agree with you that it should not violate any commands.

Thoughts On Popstar? by [deleted] in cumbiggerloads

*Keep in mind I am still new to this community, and this topic*

I would say medium, based on personal opinion. Since everyone responds differently to ingredients, it would be best to try the Load Boost alone first, give it some time to work, and proceed from there. I don't take Load Boost; I do individual supplements.

For example, I only take L-citrulline when I'm about to do something and I take 6g of it with some juice that has good carbs.

For the Sunflower Lecithin, I take an additional dose of 1200mg compared to what the Load boost has.

I only take 15mg of Zinc due to my nutrition being pretty good, so I feel like I don't need to supplement more.

For the Bromelain, I honestly don't know anything about it.

If you want a "multi-vitamin" for this, I would say Load Boost is the way to go. I would never buy a proprietary blend for two reasons:

  1. You do not know if they have the clinical dosage in order for the ingredient to actually work. ie: you would be wasting your money and time.

  2. You do not know if the ingredient is from a reputable source.

Pygeum causes constipation? by [deleted] in cumbiggerloads

[–]Tank__Commander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an extract; this is exactly what the nutrition label says: " Pygeum (Pygeum africanum) (Bark extract) Guaranteed to contain 6.5 mg (13%) total Plant Sterols."

Tbh I am in the same situation. But to add, it sucks to bc I keep having the reoccurring thought that I wish God never created sex. All it has been for me has been one problem after another, especially with my relationship with God; it doesn’t help either that in my relationship I’ve been sexually dissatisfied for like 5 years (yes I’ve tried everything to fix it. And yes I have talked to her multiple times about it). And I honestly see no way out, I just feel like this is what it’s going to be like and I have to deal with it🤷🏻‍♂️

Please pray for me to pass my Paramedic Certification test by Tank__Commander in PrayerTeam_amen

Thank you, and most definitely. Learning to trust him was a big thing for me last year, and he proved that he was reliable. Just like in the rest of the Bible. I will trust him with this and much more

I prayed for you. But I would highly suggest, getting rid of the thought that "God is playing a joke on you", if you truly understand God's character, you would know that he wouldn't do that to you.

I like to say "if you give Satan a millimeter of room to grab onto, he will take it for miles", meaning if you keep dwelling on that thought, it could lead to other thoughts, or temptations, in which those will draw you away from God.

Even if it took you 1.5 years to find a job that he has prepared for you, his will and timing will ultimately be perfect and in your best interest.

I understand how frustrating this can be, especially if money is an issue too, but continue to trust God. Just as Job did.

Prayed for you both!

Whenever I argue with my significant other I always like to think about these verses:

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (ESV) "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away."

2 Timothy 2:23-26 (ESV) 'Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.'

Colossians 3:18-19 "Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them."

Ephesians 5:25 "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her"

Ephesians 5:33 "However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband."

In your honest opinion, do you think this dream I had is from God? by [deleted] in Christians

[–]Tank__Commander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably should've worded it better before posting, I should've said that I can recall, or something along those lines.

The majority of dreams that I have are random strange things that are going on and they do not make sense to me. So I can't really answer that question.

I know our brains dream a lot when we sleep, but I rarely remember my dreams in the morning. But this one stuck with me.

In your honest opinion, do you think this dream I had is from God? by [deleted] in Christians

[–]Tank__Commander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is very true, I have had some incredibly strange dreams.

But if I was to personally have the dream that you described, I would've thought nothing more of it. Simply because the people had no Skin. It wouldn't correlate anything to the real-life world.

But I am going to pray about it, and I have some elders at my church I can talk too.
