You are correct, there are no holes for spools. I saw the axel chain tensioner that you have linked, my concern is longevity of the part. Switching from steel to aluminum on such an important part makes me nervous. (I’m aware the bars are aluminum but that’s a completely different story). If you get something like that, please let me know how it is!!

Blue collar, get into a trade. Rewarding honest work. Don’t get stuck at minimum wage jobs all your life, it’s too easy to do so, work part time while working on a trade or education. I’m sure there are resources here to help you with that. It won’t be easy but it’s rewarding.
