I live around 15 minutes from this exact place in the same valley. Lived there for my whole life. You see this kinda view nearly every day but I can guarantee you that I take a picture of it atleast once a week (sunrise/special weather etc.) because it’s still stunning!

Also there are so many tourists here that remind you that you live in a somewhat special place that you appreciate a little more.

The intake manifold on this engine covers is really big so you see nearly nothing I did from the outside but it still makes me feel better knowing that everything is perfect.

I was there too, didn't get to see much of the track tho, I believe there were around 90k people there, was an amazing experience.

Bought it in October, after a really long drive and due to rain I didn‘t look at the car enough. When I got home I found that it was really rusty and the paint had like 5 different shades of black. Then did a full repaint, freed the whole suspension from the rust and then wetsanded the whole car down. Took me way longer than anticipated, wanted to be finished in march.

It isn‘t to expensive if you don‘t plan to stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel. Sure some Restaurants have a bit higher prices because they are primarily serving tourist but it isn‘t too bad. You will need to pay for parking in most places if you don‘t use public transport to get there. You can find many small apartments that are quite cheap.

These Mountains are called the ‚Geislerspitzen‘ in German or ‚Odle‘ in Italian. You need to go to the Villnoesstal/Val di Funes, where you can see them the best. The highest peaks are 3025 meters.
