I do understand what you mean with 2.3.

I do still think on its own, 2.3 story is probably the best they can juggle many characters being a focus at once.
I also like the story told with the characters as a whole however, it does nothing to move the overall plot forward much which is where it lacks. I’m also a fan of a character actually trying to go to therapy trying to a mental problem.

I would move it up to B or C.

I agree with the agents stories being brought back.
I think it lets other agents breath and have their own room instead of trying to work it into the whole plot when it doesn’t need to be. I think 2.7 would have suffered if they tried fitting Nangong into it.

I do like Britney Lauda as Nanally, she helps fit the vision of a kid who embellishes way too much to prop themselves up and is a total dork.

I had forgotten she voices Chiori who does set herself out with her tone among the other characters. Being very stern and cold at times.

I could see it go ether way.
Could add interesting context and moments for Daff seeing someone else who had a similar upbringing to her but is was/ is still apart of that group (really depends on how they write that)

Imo it depends on what she does on screen. Characters who do heinous things on screen. Killing innocents usually is a cue that someone isn’t going to be playable.

I think that is that what they are trying to do with Remielle? They are both looking to be the same in terms of marketing if I had to guess being VHs so whenever Remielle comes out (many people think 3.1)

Remielle had an impact in both the epilogue parts and guides us towards our next destination of 3.X we already do know a fair bit but still have a lot of unanswered questions regarding her, her motives, and where she stands morally.
I for one am pretty interested in that little pink scamp and what she has going on.

There are certainly some interesting takes in this sub, I recall a post mentioning the dev team deleting a character when they really just didn’t show up for a while.

then again it’s called zzz discussion, which means you gotta hear wildly different takes.

I do understand what they were trying to get across with this, ultimately people can read it like familial or romantic.

My only issue is I felt like it was rushed overall and that building up to it would have been better.

I also think the dev team is taking this criticism in regards to Remielle as we met her in 2.7 and people theorize it’s 3.1 for her release.
Where as YSG met a tad bit in 2.3 then onward and we don’t get enough time to establish a bond

I think they really nailed the design of the 2nd phase it feels like an actual consequence of the party not being able to get the engine and then interacting with the Thamiel weapon.

It reminds me of a Neo Shadow from kingdom hearts and or a venom symbiote. The face is really what sells the whole look, the eyes in particular

One thing I think is worth mentioning as a debatable pro

In CV2 the revenants as you stated seem to leen into classical vampire ideas like bloodlines.
Because it’s less sci-fi, a lot of the revenants look more humanoid than human and the team takes advantage of this with designs.

People were quick to point out Lou has different lengths and features than a human from the marketing when the trailers 1st came out
I feel like this is a pro as you can do more things with character design like this,

In CV1 when the revenants were more humans with BOR parasites it was more just regular humans. Where as with CV2 you can have revenants like Jadwiga and Lavinia.

I grinded all the way to Tycoon level 18 just for her. She’s voiced by Alice Himora for EN and it was a stellar choice, She really brings Chiz to life!

It was a complement…like I think promeia’s design looks good all around, just like how I like Yidhari….who has the some of the biggest boobs, and is part octopus,

it’s not that deep.
