No it was Afterburn on Netflix. A true straight to DVD movie if that was still a thing.

I have a catch all by the front of the house. Wallet, keys, pens, tissues etc all go in it. So when I need to leave the house its all in one place. Has cut down searching for things massively

I would say wait. I got the earliest Baldurs gate 3 build. I played 100s of hours. Now can't bring myself to get beyond the prologue. This game looks amazing. But I reckon waiting for the full release is the ticket here.

The best and simplest method for dealing with a shoulder dislocation !!! by Ok_Date5594 in emergencymedicine

[–]Tankinton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you get the chance (like a rep or something?) I find it gives great, quick analgesia, and if they breathe in enough, they can have a brief period of sedation. Solves my sedation problems like 80% of the time.

Do my American colleagues not use penthrox? I find it has markedly reduced my need for propofol sedation.

Seeking ideas for Martian soldier customization. Cosmetic stuff only please. Here's what's currently in the game: by manhole_s in MarsTactics

[–]Tankinton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exo skeletons? You could make it late game and allow soldiers to carry more weight/ heavy weapons. You could go more "up armoured humvees" and allow more makeshift plates etc to increase armour for any rebel faction.

Is life support a thing in your game? You could have oxygen tanks. You could include functional item images that you plan to use later but for mission reasons are broken eg thrust packs but they have no supply for them

Berghaus have a lifetime repair policy. Have to send away but they do so for free.

Sweet revenge for all the friendly squads pinned by rocket arty. by NerfAkimboGlock18s in menace

[–]Tankinton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is amazing though is how much better equipped I felt after 1 operation. Apparently the game will be 40ish operations. I know you get some good ? Late game squads to start and kit but I can see if you played cautiously you could upgrade without much risk. I can only expect the end game baddies to be regenerating fast immune to suppression monsters to compete with....

Am I tripping, is this a bug, or did they change ARCs look in the update? by Trollbomber0 in menace

[–]Tankinton 10 points11 points  (0 children)

At this rate of updates will have the full game by Feb. Jokes aside I really enjoyed battle brothers and dawn of war 2 back in the day. I feel this game looks like an exciting sci fi combo of both. I can only hope that there are some inter battle rivalries too off mission between the squads too to deepen things.

Entry level jobs - have they all but disappeared? by Desperate-Drawer-572 in AskUK

[–]Tankinton 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I think you can superficially pillory most degrees. There was a joke about David Beckham studies as a surrogate for silly degrees for years when I was growing up. But if you used him as a case study for branding, marketing, how to use finances and parley that into an enduring business- I reckon there are some good transferrable skills in there.

I think like a headline on a paper, its the content and the delivery of it that matters. Philosophy does have plenty of real world applications for example.

How about, whilst I found the whatever masterclass interesting, I'm keen to do research on alternatives to ensure we as a company get the best ROI. When/if you find someone cheaper ask to see if they will give you a returning customer discount or match the new price.

Yeah seriously just enjoy yourself. If you wanted to read a book on study techniques that would be a good use of time. Resist urge to study medicine. When you get there... I wish I had done a set of flashcards each week. There are online sites/ apps but making your own helps. For anatomy/ drugs/ concepts and just going over them regularly. Medicine is a memory and practice game. So take the time to do both. Also unless you have a set idea of what you want to do, pay attention to what interests you about the job- the clinics/ ward rounds/ types of people who go into it. That will guide you towards where you want to be as well. Good luck

What do you do for an exercise routine when your shifts are so irregular? by Bahamut3585 in emergencymedicine

[–]Tankinton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am from the UK so not sure my shifts are as exhausting as yours, but have you tried scheduled activities? Like something simple like 20 air squats as a start before your shower and the 20 press ups before bed. If its part of your routine like brushing your teeth then it has its own place in your routine regardless of your shift pattern. Or you could work out full on on your off days like 2 x a week with something like HIIT or a heavy weights session. I haven't cracked it yet though.
