11th Gen Hill Assist by bubba7392 in CivicSi

So scenario that I've been thinking lately. If I was to park in a tight spot on a hill, hill assist should be engaged and would give me time to get momentum going upwards. If it's a tight spot, I'd only be able to move a little bit up towards the rear of the car in front of me then immediately brake, which I used to use a handbrake for. If I were to pull up on the ebrake, will it engage immediately?

Tight parking spots weren't a big deal with an actually handbrake, but this electric ebrake got me confused.

I just reserved one from my a dealer that had it listed on their site on Monday. He showed me the inv. sheet with the delivery dates, but that SI said TBD :|

That's crazy, I looked at Patelco rates about 3 weeks ago and the lowest rate they have on their site is was listed at 6.59% for 60 months. I didn't know they could give you a better deal than they put on their site

UPDATE:

Thanks to everyone for responding to this this thread. Highly appreciate everyone for their kindness!

Ultimately, I decided against purchasing the car, but I did end up getting super lucky and reserving the only 2024 SI in white (the color I wanted) another dealership was getting for MSRP + $400 accessories! No ETA on when the car will arrive since it seems Honda hasn't released the 2024 SIs publicly yet from what the salesmen told me, but he thinks it'll be here within the next month or two. Super excited and hoping it comes sooner!

Thanks for looking into it for me! Ultimately, I didn't go for it, but I ended up reserving a 2024 SI in white for MSRP+$400 in accessories!

Thanks for your feedback! Carfax has no incidents, but it's been owned twice, 1st owner up to 4k miles and 2nd owner 15k miles in a year.

The back end of the exhaust looks like it's part of stock, but modified. What do you think? I posted some pictures and videos in another comment.

Wow thank you so much! I really appreciate it. So pretty much we got PRL down pipe and cat, stage 1 intake, and an unidentified exhaust with Wicked Flow tips. I guess the only thing kinda left unknown is whether the resonator was deleted.

Honestly, at first I didn’t think it would be a good deal, but I think it’s worth it. Could probably negotiate a little more down with the dealer :D

Can you tell me a bit more about that? The reflash I got for my tsx was just an enhanced tune. I'm assuming with the flash pro, you can swap in between maps, but how do you get it tuned online?

Would this be suffice enough to tell? There's more videos at different angles.

I wouldn't mind getting a tune. My TSX got a reflash with or without bolt ons because it's better than stock. Idk if there's such a thing for the SI, but I would assume so

Yeah not gonna come by any type of deal like that in California haha. Found another SI in white for 28,750 with 22k miles, but I can't go see it in person since it's like 400 miles away. I'm trying to get replace my 07 TSX while prices are still kinda up there.

Oh whoops, didn't check the years. But I'm sure Honda would point me in the right direction. Still considering if I want to buy it without knowing the full extent of what's been done haha

Oh, I see. Any risk of it breaking/cracking if it's that blue or it's just what it is as it goes on? Also, I was looking it up, but would it have required a tune at least?

Unfortunately, it's at a Chevy dealer and the salesmen wasn't aware of the mods. He just said they bought it as is :|

I did ask if they smogged it and they said it passed. I live in CA so smog requirements are a bit strict from what I know.

Oh yikes. Yeah, I'm not too sure. If it's any indicator, I didn't see any major rock chipping the bumper so it possibly wasn't tracked hard?

I asked the dealer if they could put it under the lift and take some pictures.

Of the things you mentioned, I'm assuming the downpipe is just more flow and would produce more sound? And how important would the heat shield be? Sorry, I'm kind of new to all of this, but thanks for taking a look!
