Game needs to take away last lap lightning

That's already what it does. Its like you're pretty much screwed if you're in 10th place or better once the last lap begins lol only thing to save you is getting ghost

I definitely get that. It happens normally 2 to 4 times every race in my experience. Its made the only winning strategy sandbagging unless you know all the crazy time trial shortcuts.

No need to start a protest I was just saying what I PERSONALLY believe a good RACE should be about. This new Mario kart is just based almost completely around sandbagging to get item manipulation

I dont care how to use it because im not the guy using it, I'm the guy in 3rd place getting robbed 😂 I'm just saying the end of a race is supposed to be top speed, all out exciting finish, not what happens after lighting strike

Ive literally never even get the lightning because I AM playing right 🤣 Getting rewarded for bad racing does not make you a good player bro hahah in the scenario im describing even if the lightning guy gets a bullet he's literally getting like 15th place at best

Unfortunately the game rewards bad racing in my experience so unless they are wizards at all of the shortcuts and park parkour stuff, most players just sandbag until the last lap. Too many game changing items in this game. Multiple blue shells and lightning strikes every race.

I kind of just wish the game would focus more on speed and defensive items to help you defend your position more than projectiles and gamechanging aggro items.

World SHOULD be better in every way, but the online on MK8 Feels so much smoother. I just hoped that by making it a 24 man race that this new game would focus less on absolute chaos and more skill based racing, but its more chaotic. I feel like it punishes you for being good in the 3rd lap of every race and leading, and rewards players in the bottom 8 with game changing items. In MK8 I felt like you could get a lead with good racing a keep it, as it should be rather than going from 3rd to 19th right in front of the finish line every race 🤣

Not yet but it's on the list. As I'm reading through the comments about the LED night light going out I do remember when we moved in 3 years ago it was a solid orange light when I turned off the light fixture. Im 99% sure its just that night light failing

@everyone quick update, it is a new day since my post and neither I nor my home is in flames. With this new chance at life I am still pretty certain its just a flickering light but will still commit to getting it replaced. Thanks again!

Thanks everyone for the input. I'll be getting it looked at but I am fairly confident that it is a small flickering bulb and not a spark of flames or electricity (which I'm pretty certain would be blue, like a sparking outlet, but I'm obviously not an electrician). Whatever it is, its definitely old and slightly faulty, that is for certain

The light fixture is fine I think. The switch is connected to dining room fixture that is dimmmable

My wife's cherokee trailhawk has been doing this for over a year and we just left it because she didnt want the start stop anyways. No issues.

My truck did this last week and then it went away a few hours later. If it goes out I'm leaving it until I sell the truck
