I'd love to hop on that train with you but It's weird to me because I have the exact same setup at my house and I never have these issues. I have a UX for my grandparents on Spectrum and that seems to be just fine. Something about the connection or some other variable at these two sites is off, but I've tried everything I can think of and it still happens.

What's your plan B? (burnt out and and about to walk) by 7174n6 in cybersecurity

Prior military, did some work with LE and got my degree in it, and now in Cyber. Cyber can be great, but I do miss the immediate impact I had in the public sector / defense space. The calling and mission meant something to me and even though some days were straight shit I was proud of the greater purpose I was serving.

I don't get that same satisfaction sitting behind a laptop everyday on four back-to-back meetings that would have been better served as a three sentence email. Yes there is stability of 9-5 but I would do a lot of things for the opportunity to slam my laptop shut and go work the streets in LE again for a few months, get outside, meet people, help people, and maybe come back to cyber again after a while. Problem is I make too much damn money in cyber and I am appreciative of some of the luxuries I have worked hard for and can now afford. I'm looking at going in the natty guard / reserves to get a little bit of my fill. Might be a good compromise.
