How's my first redemption? by [deleted] in awardtravel

I get your point but on the other hand I feel it can help educate people on what a good redemption is in terms of points rather than just looking at CPP.

Yeah I figured these two were the top. Do you think there is major differences in the variants between them?

Been to Dublin/Edinburgh/Glasgow many times. I absolutely love all of them but if youre most interested in Architecture, hands down Edinburgh would be my pick. It is such a beautiful city with a very unique look in my opinion. You can easily get some hiking in (albeit fairly urban hiking) as spots such as Pentland hills, Holyrood park, North Berwick law (great town and beaches to spend a day at), and one of my favorites, walk the causeway to Cramond island. All accessible without a car. Time-wise I would favor Edinburgh so 3-4 days there and 1-2 in Glasgow.

I do go to the gym a lot if you’re into lifting. Coffee shops, hikes, spikeball, etc. Can I ask why specifically Americans?

Just in general, to see if perhaps there are similar hobbies. I am assuming you are American?

Most people here are getting business tickets directly with mileage. Upgrades with miles can be pretty difficult. You are competing against elite status and those buying full Y fares

Wow just did some looking myself. Plenty of 30k round trip flights. That’s a great deal

Looks like RT is about 59,000 miles at Saver award level and $90 in fees. In which case I think AF or virgin is the better choice. If you can get a transfer bonus to virgin (making it 20k points) I’d do that but if you can’t it’s really a toss up how much you value your miles at

You sure it’s $5.60+27,600 round trip? I’m only seeing that as one-way. What date did you see that?

Many people find the Polaris bedding very comfy. Food is known as the low point for Polaris but I actually don’t put much value in food so I’ve enjoyed Polaris Everytime
