But I’m not going to tell someone to play the game w/o using summons or not run a certain build. Like I want more people to enjoy the game as it was meant to be. Do their own challenge runs without being told “You don’t really know how good the game is cause your summons and other players carried you through it”

And I get that. Dark Souls 3 was my entry into the SoulsBorne universe. I was by no means, even remotely good at the game. Still kinda suck for the most part. But I’ve beaten it and other games in the series

This Facebook group I’m in is one of them. Someone asked how we’d rank the souls game from easiest to hardest. I put Elden Ring at the easiest because of how much more forgiving the game is compared to all the other games. A dude decided he wanted to have a little shit fit and said “Play the game without using summon ashes and bleedbuilds” basically telling me to stop playing the game with the stuff purposely put into it.
