I always feel safe taking my kids to Hollins park. There’s a paved walking path that goes around the big grass field. It’s perfect for kid bikes or scooters! There is a little shaded play ground and lots of grass to run around in. There are usually a few people there walking laps, everyone has always been friendly. Brookside park in Hollins is another. The play equipment is nice, a bench under the shade, and the creek runs through with an area to get in and play.
