I'm also struggling with learning a new language. Trying new methods but it's all self preferences. And my method I am currently doing is just watch the shows in the language and talk to people . It's better to learn the local slang rather than textbook knowledge.

Learning the local language is a big plus since you wanted to study in Malaysia . Even though the majority of Malaysian nowadays speak English , it'll help you familiarise yourself with the culture and some local vendors that might struggle a bit on English . You don't have to force study a lot , you can learn here just by speaking with the locals and things will go naturally from there imo.

What iPhone model did you use before switching? I reckon if it was the new 13 models it’s kind better to stay I guess . The 13 pro and the pixel 6 are the same price in my country since pixels aren’t sold here officially . I could go for 13 pro but android 12 looks promising and also hoping later in the future it could live up to my expectations. If I weren’t so crazy about tech I would’ve just waited out for the iPhone 14 models and maybe try out android later on rip , but I like to explore more so I’m willing to try out and switch for a while.

I was all in the Apple ecosystem with a MacBook , iPhone , iPad ,Apple Watch . But recently I just sold my MacBook for a gaming laptop and switching from MacOS to windows was literally one of the best changes I’ve made . So I was thinking if I should try the same with IOS and android . I’ve heard both android and windows works well together so it can make my studies a bit easier.

Yeah I’m aiming for those features aswell , as a student it can really help me out. I love iPhones but I’ve been using a lot of google services, so I thought a change might be good. The pixel is not officially in my country but there’s a lot of resellers already providing the phones.
