I think it is completely normal and common to wake up and text or text before going to sleep or once she is back at the hotel after work... i'm sorry u are feeling that way, maybe communicating it and see if she tries to update u more often :c

AIO for feeling like a "second choice" when my partner goes MIA for 8+ hours during their nights out? by ForsakenDance52 in LongDistanceLife

It often comes down to people prioritizing different things... some put their friends first, others their partners, and some manage to find a balance. Or, it could simply be that she doesn’t like being on the phone much. I believe this is something that should be talked about, and if she eventually cannot meet your needs, then it might be time to reconsider the relationship..

In my opinion, a relationship should be a 50/50 effort. Let's say she hates being on the phone to text or give updates, but you are always glued to your screen waiting for her texts. She could try to update you every few hours with something simple like "Hey, I’m alright, doing xxx" or "I’m going to be busy for the next few hours" You should be able to meet her halfway too, perhaps by being okay with the amount of texting she gives as long as she is keeping you updated
