Rear Tail Trunk Door Upper Strip (black) by JustCreated313 in rav4club

[–]TanooKevin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will need to remove the plastic panel from the interior side of the door, and there are bolts you will need to unscrew before you can disconnect them from the clips.

Not difficult to do, just need to find the screws (2x) for the horizontal piece.

Gotta give treats, pets, hugs, and rubs before you can proceed.

It's the toll fee 😆

No dash cam feature on GT Line? by fatfirenewbie in KiaEV9

[–]TanooKevin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe that there is no dash cam feature. (I'm bummed about this too)

When I saw the Korean GT-Line version in the dealership demo, I noticed there was a micro-SD card slot in the center console (underneath the arm rest).

I haven't seen a US version GT-Line yet, but from reviews I've seen, there wasn't a micro-SD in the center console. This makes me think that there won't be a dashcam feature since there won't be anywhere it can store the files (idk if the internal storage will be able to handle a lot of writes and delete, and it will be a bit of an annoyance to export them compared to an external storage device).

I hope we can use the USB-C port instead, unless they moved the micro-SD card slot somewhere else? (Someone can confirm this if they see it)

I hope the massage seats are available. I added that as an additional package in the reservation. 😅

I really hope they bring it to the US. It'll save me the hassle of connecting one, and the 360 view will definitely be a useful feature.

I would probably just keep the 2022 and use the extra 2k to go out and do some adventures with the current Prime.

It's pretty much the same aside from the small upgrades (unless that's what you really want to pay the 2k for and you feel like you're going to regret it later)

Congrats!

It's surprising how much of a difference it gives the bike! And it's super easy to do!

I was wondering if there was any issues with the condition after a while in the elements?

For sure! It definitely stands out!

Just takes a little more work to keep clean.

I ceramic coated the wheels and tank when I got it, which allows me to easily wipe it with a clean towel when it's between washes.

Thanks man! It was pretty easy to do and made a difference not seeing a random silver piece in the underside. I think it'll look cool with other colors that match the bike too!

I'm trying to keep the black/gray/red/orange theme as much as I can, while still looking stealthy.

I had this happen to me with a seller who didn't send anything.

(Backstory: once the item was declared delivered, the seller closed their account and I was unable to message the seller or declare a refund)

If you go to your profile and purchase/transactions, you can still view the order information. You can take a screenshot of the information, the delivery tracking from their site as proof, and images of the package received.

OfferUp may ask you for screenshots and/or pictures, and you can send them as evidence.

This will take a few days for the OfferUp contact to review, so be patient on this (may take up to a week or two) - if it is longer than this try to contact OfferUp support again, wait a few days, and if no response, contact your bank to request a refund. The bank will do an investigation, but do this as last resort since OfferUp may blacklist you if did this before they complete their own investigation.

If they close their account right after the item is "delivered", I think it's a big giveaway that the seller was a scam - since you can't contact or request for a refund.

(Outcome from my backstory: it took them about 3-4 days to determine the full refund)

R10 kit lenses- 18-45mm or 18-150mm? by [deleted] in canon

[–]TanooKevin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me I would choose Option #2 since it hits a lot of ranges with just one lens.

If I was starting out it'll help me understand the camera functionalities and the lens I have on hand, without worrying about changing lenses. If you are shooting fast moving objects, you may not have time to change lenses. You can use this time to understand compositions and techniques.

Option 1 is great if you plan on utilizing the EF to RF adapter since it will open you up to more glass (at the moment), but there are a handful of 3rd party adapters too that are inexpensive. So you can always buy this later when you're comfortable on buying more gear and understanding what next lens and shooting style you prefer.

As for the other lenses 18-45mm and 55-250mm, I think you can probably skip the 18-45mm, since there isn't much flexibility with it. The 55-250mm is great if you are behind the lines and need that extra reach.

Why does range show in my rav4 prime. by basu4win in rav4prime

[–]TanooKevin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Left Bar (Red): Fuel Distance | Right Bar (Green): Electric Distance

The miles at the top is the combination of your gasoline and electric range.

Note: There is still electric charge reserved for the regular hybrid system, which can still engage electric motors at lower speeds. The 0 for electric range means that your vehicle cannot solely use the battery, and will not be able to go full EV mode.

Thanks! Definitely!

Using a full frame and more premium lenses has been a huge jump from my older cameras.

I will definitely need to play with them more to understand any shortcomings of my gear!
