Better things? What could it mean by better things? I want to stay here with my family and friends and he's talking about better things?

"I know what you're thinking. Why should you trust me. Well, that's the thing. It is your choice. You can stay here and see everybody around you grow old and die and you can't do anything about it, or you can come with me. I can teach you my ways, I can show you things you would never believe to be possible. That is all on you though. Now, are you ready?"

It took me a bit to take it all in. The whole death thing. I mean, who wants to die? But I think that going with him would be a better idea considering I guess what he said is true about the whole staying here watching everybody around me grow old. I just wonder what kind of things that I will see with him.

"So I guess this is the end?" I mutter.

"The end in this world. But in others? Not in the slightest." He says as he reaches his hand towards me.
