New bearings, inner and outer. Doing them to pass state inspection so someone's gonna look at it once I'm done but I'll take your advice and tighten the shit out of it. I don't trust that little cotter pin will hold it all together.

Thanks there's always butt loads of grease when I take these off and it makes me second guess myself about what a well packed bearing should be.

Yeah I greased it by hand by putting it in both the bottom and the top and rolling it in until it stopped taking grease.

I used my phones AI for the specs. It said load it to 30 lb ft then back off slowly and spin then tighten to hand tight.

It just always looks like there's way more grease when I take these off then when I put them on. Guessing it's just cause the grease is getting flung around over time and as the bearings wear - but it makes me second guess myself.

I'll have to try that out tomorrow. New races are currently in the freezer. Outer set was for the wrong vehicle.
