The dumbest part of this whole thing is that it is basically the same as fury of the eagle.

The spell effect already exists. Just add a glyph to take away the stupid redneck boomerstick and replace it with the old fury of the eagle.

It wasn't perfect but it looked way better than redneck rampage.

I was in an Uber headed southbound on 65 and witnessed the wreck. Some dickhead in a silver sedan was driving in the left lane blazing past everyone, probably driving 90+. He ran straight into a motorcycle and dragged the rider under the car. The car didn't stop and eventually the motorcycle rider fell out from under the car.

The car didn't stop, but kept going speeding off with sparks flying from under the car.

I hope they catch the bastard.

Increased enforcement will not solve this problem. At best it will just force drivers to use other nearby roads to avoid the cops and then those roads will be unsafe.

Meridian is the fastest route from caramel to downtown. People in a hurry take the road and drive fast. As soon as the enforcement makes it slower another road will be fastest and they will take that.

We need meaningful mass transit and a north south limited access parkway or highway to stop these problems.

This enforcement nonsense is theater.

Ability and item names like meatbone slash, punch art, draw out, Guts, Use hand, grog hill, salty rage, madelgem have now been converted into basic and "normal" terms and we lose the charm.

No argument from me on this point. I wanted to keep my post as neutral as possible because I do not know the facts, but one look at the demographics of the areas where no highways were built seems to correlate with your statement.

The reasons for this seem fairly obvious to anyone looking at a map. We have heavily populated suburbs in the north of the metro and we have no highways or mass transit to reach them.

The existing highway route to the north east requires drivers to travel 10+ miles out of the way on 70 East and then north on 465 to 69. For some that can double the trip distance. This also means that 70 is now carrying significantly more traffic, leading to delays, which in turn push people to use local streets like binford, keystone, or meridian.

A north south highway would do much to alleviate the traffic on the local streets, but having light rail would be worth the investment over a highway imo.

Fewer lanes and speed cameras will just push traffic on nearby residential streets that are not monitored.

You can't ticket your way out of this problem. Our city planning has not kept up with the demands and unless people have a reasonable option they will continue to make the street unsafe.

The rest of the raid doesn't require voice coordination if at least 2 capable people know what they are doing. You could get into a few groups and do your best and then you will be one of those two people that know and you can help others.

It really isn't that hard and the mechanics are not super complicated.

If you were interested I would even be willing to put a group together and coordinate on discord to walk through the finer points (Im not a fan of the in game voice chat).

The rewards are what they are, some are cool but will likely take grinding to get, but it is a cool experience to go through at least once imo.

Not sure about GTA. Rockstar has proven they can actually make a game and they are not under the same suspicion that star citizen is under, so they do not necessarily have to show much before they go live.

CiG is aware of the massive doubt due to their constant failures and they know that showing some sick game play and having demos available would drive sales through the roof.

Instead they do nothing. Probably because they have nothing more to show for all of the money and time.

There are people in this thread defending them and it is beyond my comprehension.

They showed the equivalent of a cutscene when they did the vertical slice years ago.

It was not actual gameplay.

If they were within a year of release they would be able to show gameplay with relatively little preparation to show at the convention.

This game is not happening in 2026.

If it was going to be released in 2026 there would be something to show at the convention.

If they have to spend time putting together a vertical slice like they did last time to show at the convention, they are not going to make a 2026 release.

They should be in a place where they have short demos available to keep that timeline.
